Gérard Bertrand Cahors Malbec

Malbec actually originated in Cahors, France — long before it found fame in Argentina — and Gérard Bertrand's version honours this heritage. Expect a more austere, earthy, and tannic Malbec compared to its New World counterparts: dark cherry, plum, leather, and iron with a serious, age-worthy structure. Excellent with duck confit, lamb, or a classic French cassoulet.
