Inspired by Chablis’ Grand Cru sites, the 2020 Black Lion opens with orange rind, apricot, lime flowers, quince, and a touch of flint and salinity. Aeration reveals subtle yogurt and pastry notes from extended lees aging.

The palate offers pear, Valencia orange, and passion fruit, with a hint of honey. Bright acidity balances the wine’s richness, leading to a long finish of almond and honeycomb. Elegant and unique, it’s the crown jewel of Ferox’s white range.
